We have been a hub for Brown & Black culture in Oakland for the last 6 years. Through Markets, Vinyl Dinner Parties, Tiny Desk style performances, Art Shows, and community events we have hosted over 300 nights with 400+ local artists, musicians, & creatives.

couchdate temescal - our Afro Indo Market and record shop. We sell fine teas, antique rugs, simple home goods and vinyl records. Of course we also have a jam packed community calendar as well

couchdate downtown - our old location downtown is being ran by comfort colletive - they serve food and drink and are bringing their own programming focused on local, Black, & queer talent.

couchdate (all lower case) is an archival & restoration project highlighting Black & Brown voices.
