Hand-woven Yalameh Nomadic Tribe Rug "High Art"

$650.00

This Yalameh rug is woven by the nomadic Qashqi people of central Iran. As far as Yalamehs go, this is of the highest craftsmanship I’ve ever seen. The incredibly fine details and the colors used are one-of-a-kind. The dyes are all natural plant dyes and the wool is of exceptional quality as well.

While some might see “flaws” or “imperfections”, that is entirely the wrong perspective. These rugs proudly wear the telltales signs of humans doing an ancient improvisational craft by hand - and the wear of their age. Please look at photos carefully before making a decision.
