1960's Baluch Tribal Rug, very long Hand-woven Runner

A gorgeous and very long tribal runner. Baluch tribes are nomadic and reside on both sides of the Iran-Afghanistan border. This runner showcases their trademark strong geometric style with deep deep reds, some greens, and dark dark blues. The dyes are all natural plant dyes.

While some might see “flaws” or “imperfections”, that is entirely the wrong perspective. These rugs proudly wear the telltales signs of humans doing an ancient improvisational craft by hand - and the wear of their age. Please look at photos carefully before making a decision.
