Comes from Northwestern Iran. All natural vegetable dyes and very high quality wool. The medallion in the middle is really special. Please note there is some very low pile on one end of the rug, as is to be expected with a rug of this age. Structurally the rug is great and is ready for another 100 years.
While some might see “flaws” or “imperfections”, that is entirely the wrong perspective. These rugs proudly wear the telltales signs of humans doing an ancient improvisational craft by hand - and the wear of their age. Please look at photos carefully before making a decision.
